Javelin Park

Javelin Park Trip Year 10 and 12 students recently toured the Javelin Park energy-from-waste facility to learn about Gloucestershire’s sustainable waste processing.

They observed how burning waste generates electricity, reducing landfill use, and discovered how emissions are monitored and byproducts like recycled metals and ash are repurposed. The visit reinforced GCSE topics on waste management and sustainability, while showcasing the crucial role of engineers and inspiring future careers.
